今日も☆先生のレッスン♪
今日は何時に仕事が終わったの？と聞かれて「8時に終わった」と言ったつもりが
「18時」と言っていたようで、「18時ってことは6時？」と聞かれて
「2時間前」と言ったところで初めて自分が18時と言ったことに気がついて、
「Not eighteen, at eight O'clock.」っと言われてしまいました。
今日は☆先生の喉の調子がよくないようで、喉が痛くて擦れるって言ってました。
先生はいつも少しハスキーボイスだけど、時々すごくハスキーなときがあって
ちょっと心配です。
薬を飲んでるの？と聞いたら「薬を飲んでも効かないの、身体が丈夫だから大丈夫」
だって言ってました。
「早く良くなったらいいね」と言いたかったけど、何て言ってよいかわからず、
「It's OK?」と言ったら先生が私が言いたいことを察知してくれて
「I hope your throat gets better.」と言うんだって教えてくれました。
以前は私が知らない単語や私が言ったことで間違っていると正しいsentenseを
教えてくれたけど、最近少しずつ私が言いたいであろう正しい答え方を教えてくれます。

質問された時の答え方を教えてもらえるのはすごくありがたいです。
だって、質問や単語などはいくらでも調べることができるけど、日常会話での
答え方って意外とwebで検索したり本で探してもないのよね。
映画とかを見て覚えればいいのかもしれないけど、まだ映画を英語で見ても
理解できないので映画で覚えるのはまだ当分先ですね。
せめて日常会話での返答ぐらいは短いsentenseででも答えられるように
なりたいです。
さて、本日のレッスンですが、相変わらず頭でわかっているのに口から
出るときは違った言葉を言ってしまいます。
mummy を people と言ってしまったり、got dark を got up と言ったり
自分でも何でこんなに間違うんだろうと自己嫌悪に陥ります。
まだ頭でしっかり理解できていない証拠ですね。
私がspeak練習でかなり厳しそうなときは無理にパートの繰り返しをせずに
その先に進み「次回のレッスンまでに練習してね」って言ってくれる。
先生は私がどのように進めたらできるようになるか考えてくれてるのかな。
確かに一度speak練習で厳しくても宿題にしてもらって後で練習すると
なんとかできるようになるので私としてもその方がいい感じ。
また練習しようっと。
