今年も今日から☆先生のレッスンが始まりました。
今日はフリートークでお正月の過ごし方を聞かれて、父のところに訪問したことなどを伝えれました。
ホテルのビュッフェに食べに行ったことを話していた途中で「日本のビュッフェは高い？」と聞かれて
答えが出てこず考えてると「It depends.」と言ってくれたけど、その意味がわからず・・・
チャットで
表現- expression
依存- depends
と書いてくれたけど、益々意味がわからず・・・
いろいろ例を挙げてくれたけど、結局理解できず、
WEBで調べてねって言われてフリートーク終了。

早速調べたら「それは[すべては]時と場合による, ケースバイケース(決まり文句); 単に Depends. ともいう」
と言うのがわかったわ。
日本のビュッフェは場所によっていろんな値段があるってことだったのね。
まだまだ英語は難しいわ・・・
私はいつもメガネをかけてレッスンを受けてるんだけど、今日はメガネをはずしていたら、
メガネをしてないと眠そうに見えるって言われたよ～
そんなに眠くはなかったんだけどな～
いつもメガネをかけておかなきゃダメかな・・・

「France」の発音が聞き取れず、3回目でようやく「France」だとわかったわ。
発音が違うとこんなにもわからないものなのね。
ここでドイツ首都がどこなのか、イタリアの首都がどこなのかが覚えられなくて
こんがらがっちゃうわ～
パリと東京は知ってるから大丈夫なんだけど。
明日はこのreviewから開始です。
